Mission: Justice
Location: USS Valiant, LT Kowal’s Office
Timeline: 1 MAY 2389, 15:18

Rick has just gotten his third stripe. Translation, he was just promoted. Only a higher being than him knew why, all he knew was petty officer Prynn what's the report to a lieutenant, for the life of him he couldn't remember the name.

Koval, Cowell, something like that.

Anyway, he took a quick look at his padd

"Looks to be the right place" he said to himself, ringing the chime.

"Enter," Heather called, mid packing a box on her desk. She looked up and recognized a Corpsman that she'd done some away missions with since she'd been aboard the Valiant. "What can I help you with, Petty Officer?" she asked.

His eyes flashed in recognition. "Lieutenant. It's good to see you again." He smiled. He handed over a padd. "Commander Thomas gave me this. Said your eyes only," he shrugged.

She quickly scanned the PADD and her smile grew, "it looks like you're coming with me to our next assignment. Welcome to Law Enforcement Team 72 have a seat, we can chat a bit about it," she said, motioning toward the empty chair before moving her box to the side and walking around to sit behind her desk.

"Definitely sounds interesting.' Rick smiled. He gladly sat, eager to learn more.

"The LET is a newer unit in Task Force 72 that has been around about a year. They are based on Starbase 310 which is a planetary base on a planet they're currently terraforming. We'll use runabouts or bum rides off other units in order to get around and conduct law enforcement missions. I don't know how large the medical contingency assigned is but I would guess it's just Corpsman and you'll likely be senior as an HS1."

"Sounds like fun. Get to be mobile. Beats being a random face in sickbay," he laughed.

"Well you won't have a sickbay though I'm sure we can find you some time in the Starbase sickbay to keep up your skills if you need," she told him. "Are you qualified at all in any boarding ops?"

"It's been a minute, but not too rusty. I think it's still good" he said

"Don't worry, we'll have plenty of practice when we get to our new home. I'll get in touch with you before we arrive we can go check the place out together?" she suggested.

"Sounds good to me, Lieutenant," Rick said.

"It'll be nice to have a familiar face, doc," she said, with a wink. "Talk soon."

"Sure thing, Ell tee" Rick replied, giving the thumbs up
