Law Enforcement Team 72

Welcome to the Law Enforcement Team 72!

While the Alrakis Pact settles into its new boundaries and rumors of unrest flutter between Federation Member Worlds, life in the Alpha Quadrant continues to deliver excitement. For some, this excitement means abuse of one’s abilities or power, or even testing the limits of the law.

Enter Law Enforcement Team 72. Law Enforcement Team 72 (LET72) is responsible for conducting Law Enforcement and Border Patrol operations within Task Force 72’s Area of Operations within the Fourth Fleet. Based out of Starbase 310, the LET will conduct operations throughout the quadrant ranging from responding to distress calls, border patrol, investigations, and enforcing the law.

The LET is a heavy character development driven sim based on small team dynamics and operations and commanded by Lieutenant Heather Kowal.

Crew of Law Enforcement Team 72,

Due to ongoing political issues within Bravo Fleet and the obvious decision by the Admiralty to not follow the wishes of its memberships or protect the ability for the individual sim to maintain its own canon I have decided to leave the fleet. As LET72 has been struggling as of late I will be terminating the sim and would like to invite anyone interested to transfer their character to the USS Pioneer a Pathfinder Class Science Vessel that will be leaving Bravo Fleet for the newly created 22nd Fleet where the members will be represented directly by their Commanding Officers to the leadership which will be voted on by the game masters anually. For more information head over to the Pioneer’s Website: and the 22nd Fleet’s website:

If you wish to transfer your character please contact me directly via Discord.

» Task Force Participation Award

Posted on 03 Apr 2019 @ 4:40am by Lieutenant Heather Kowal in Sim Announcement

It is with great pride that I announce that Law Enforcement Team 72 has been awarded a Task Force Participation award from our Task Force Commanding Officer, ADM O'Connell. The following is the excerpt regarding the award for LET72 and an individual award for the CO, LT Heather Kowal.

"Law Enforcement Team 72 is a unique simulation, poised to access multiple Task Force Storylines. Its first focus as a character-driven simulation hasn’t stopped the team from interfacing with both the Alrakis Pact and Freedom’s Legion arcs. This medal is awarded to its GM, Stephen, on behalf of the entire sim."

"I wish to do something unusual. This medal is typically awarded to sims in a Task Force. However, due to extraordinary circumstances, I am electing to bestow this award on seven individuals, Aio, Wizardbeard, Stephen, Temple, Teix, BlackWolf, and Beeman, for their involvement in the “Negotiations” miniseries hosted between Palais de la Concorde and Starbase 72. This grand experiment was a rousing success, ensuring that the Federation would not lose access to a cornerstone area of 72’s Area of Operations, the Inconnu Expanse. Well, at least for now. Only time will truly tell."

For more information and for the full award including other sims within Task Force 72 please click here.

Member profiles will be updated shortly to reflect membership of the sim during the time the award was given.

» Skin Update

Posted on 03 Apr 2019 @ 4:26am by Lieutenant Heather Kowal in Website Update

Our skin has been updated to be more mobile friendly without having to use multiple skins. All members will need to login to the Nova and proceed to the site options menu within their control panel and click save or update in their my skin tab. Hyperion is the name of the new skin and will likely already be selected, however, until you update the settings in the menu it may not display properly. The old skin files will be removed from the server next week and may cause an issue with your account if not properly updated. Any questions contact me via Discord.

It's with regret I must announce that Aaron has resigned from LET72 due to taking on a new job with a larger time commitment to real life. He'll still be around the server to be aloof and occasionally socialize. That being said I am promoting Chief Jennifer Anders to the rank of Senior Chief Petty Officer and the position of Executive Petty Officer.

This new position will be following along as we revamp LET72 to focus on our Law Enforcement role and we tidy up the manifest and such. More announcements will be made as the time comes.
